The interpreter assists each non-English speaking or limited English voter in their respective language (Spanish, Chinese, or Korean). The interpreter may also enter the voting booth to assist the voter.

Citizens Union Foundation is highly concerned about the privacy of poll worker applicants. These applications ask for sensitive data, such as your Social Security Number. This information is required by the New York City Board of Elections to fully process an application. Any data that you send to us will be used solely for the purposes of the poll worker recruitment program.
