Board of Elections Poll Workers Program
Since 2001, Citizens Union Foundation has partnered with the New York City Board of Elections to recruit poll workers. All poll worker applicants are trained and paid through the City Board of Elections' Poll Workers Program.
Election Assistance Commission
The EAC has generously provided Citizens Union Foundation a grant to recruit college students and college-age individuals to become poll workers.
Poll Worker Manual
Poll workers will be asked to refer to this manual during training and on Election Day.
Citizens Union

Citizens Union Foundation
Founded in 1948, Citizens Union Foundation (CUF) is the non-profit research, education, and advocacy organization affiliated with Citizens Union, though it is governed by a separate board of directors and operates with independent finances. CUF is a non-partisan force for good government, working to inform and engage the citizens of New York and ensure local and state government values its citizens, addresses critical issues, and operates in a fair, open, and fiscally sound manner.

New York City
Voter Assistance Commission
The VAC’s role is to encourage and facilitate voter registration and voting by all eligible United States citizens residing in New York City. It is strictly non-partisan and does not promote any candidate, political party, or political agenda.
AALDEF
The Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF) is a national organization that protects and promotes the civil rights of Asian Americans. It participates in litigation, advocacy, education, and organizing.
Hispanic Federation
The Hispanic Federation (HF) is a service-oriented membership organization of ninety Hispanic health and human-service agencies in the tri-state area. The Federation's mission is to strengthen Hispanic human service agencies, enabling them to better meet the growing needs of our region's Hispanic community.
Korean American Voter's Council
The Korean American Voters' Council (KAVC) is a member organization of the 121 Coalition, a national coalition representing over 200 civic organizations united to defend human rights. KAVC works to politically empower the community, recruit and train youth, and enrich the Korean spirit and culture.

Project Vote Smart, a citizen's organization, has developed a Voter's Self-Defense System to provide you with the necessary tools to self-govern effectively: abundant, accurate, unbiased, and relevant information. Project Vote Smart will soon launch an Application Programming Interface, so check out their website in the coming weeks.
Choose or Lose - Vote Smart
Choose or Lose, sponsored by MTV, is a national campaign of organizations mobilizing young adults ages 18 to 30 to vote and be a deciding factor in the presidential election.
